What time is check in?

Check in is from 4:00pm - 8:00pm on the day of arrival.

What time is check out?

 By 11:00am on the day of departure.

The main entrance from Upper Newcastle Road is open for vehicular access 24 hours, 7 days a week.

Is there parking?

Parking is available on a first-come-first-served basis in limited areas only. Full details are available at reception.

 

Important: there is strict clamping in operation across the University campus.

Is there Wi-Fi?

Yes, complimentary Wi-Fi is available. Instructions are provided on the back of bedroom doors.

How can maintenance issues be reported?

Any maintenance issues encountered during a guest's stay, can be logged by contacting reception and we will endeavour to resolve as soon as possible.

 

Urgent issues should be reported to reception by calling on 091 527112. If, during a guest's stay, there is an exceptional reason why a member of staff or trusted contractor may need to visit their apartment, we will inform guests with as much notice as possible.

What are the emergency procedures?

In the event of an emergency, please call 091 493333 for security.

To contact emergency services, call 112 or 999.

Fire instructions are on the back of your bedroom door – please take note of what to do in the unlikely event of a fire.


Please ensure that all bedroom doors and windows are closed when away from apartments.

What sports facilities are there?

A range of facilities are available for guests' use, as follows:

  • Tennis court
  • Soccer cages
  • Ping pong table
  • Pool tables

 

The above facilities may be used free of charge, however please note that the soccer cages must be booked and a health and safety policy must be signed, in advance.

 

Sports equipment can be rented from reception by paying a refundable deposit. Equipment available for rent includes:

  • Tennis rackets and balls
  • Badminton rackets and shuttlecocks
  • Ping pong paddles, balls and net
  • Basketballs and pump
  • Footballs

Is there a shop/somewhere to eat?

Our shop/café in Corrib Village offers freshly-made hot pizza, sandwiches, fruit, snacks and more, available throughout the day.

Order pizza in advance for collection! Simply call 091 519299 to place an order and your pizza will be ready to collect from the shop in a matter of minutes!

Is there a launderette?

There is a self-service launderette in each of our 3 residences. These are open 24 hours daily.

Launderette locations:

  • Dunlin Village: block B
  • Goldcrest Village: between blocks B & C (under the archway)
  • Corrib Village: beside block B and the shop. 


An app can be downloaded to gain use of the washing machines and dryers. Instructions are posted in the launderette.

The total cost of a wash cycle plus a dry cycle is €6.50.


Ironing facilities are available in the launderette.

Are linen, towels and toiletries provided?

Guests are provided with linen and towels on arrival.

Individually-booked rooms are generally serviced daily and apartments are serviced every 3 days. Schedule may vary subject to business demands or booking type.


Requests for additional items can be made by contacting reception. There is an additional fee for towel and linen change requests outside of the standard housekeeeping schedule.

 

Soap and shampoo/body wash are supplied on arrival. Should more be required, these items are available for purchase in our on-site shop, for an additional fee.

 

We kindly ask guests to ensure that bins are emptied and bin liners tied at the end of their stay.

Are there recycling facilities in apartments?

Recycling facilities are available and we encourage guests to separate waste correctly.

 

In the kitchen/living area, there is a compartment for each of the following waste streams:

  • Food waste
  • Recyclables (cardboard, plastic, paper, cartons, tins)
  • General waste (all non-recyclable waste)

 

There is a bin outside for glass.

 

We also have a Deposit Return Point located outside our shop in Corrib Village for plastic bottles and aluminium/steel cans that feature the Re-Turn logo!

Is the accommodation non-smoking?

Yes, all rooms and apartments are non-smoking and non-vaping. Evidence of smoking will incur a charge; please refer to our terms and conditions for full details.

Is there an EV charger?

Yes, there is an electric vehicle charger in Corrib Village.
